Floor Stickers

Floor stickers are custom-printed vinyl decals applied directly to hard floor surfaces. Anti-slip lamination is applied to every floor sticker as standard, providing a textured top layer that reduces slip risk on smooth surfaces including polished concrete, ceramic tiles, timber, and commercial vinyl flooring. The lamination is a safety feature built into the product - not an optional add-on.

Full-colour digital printing reproduces any design at floor level: directional arrows for wayfinding, queue management lines, social distancing markers, branded floor promotions, event sponsor graphics, and decorative retail branding. The print sits under the laminate, which protects the artwork from foot traffic abrasion and maintains colour and legibility over the product's intended service life. A standard starting size is 150 x 150mm, with larger custom formats available for prominent display zones and large-format floor graphics.

Floor stickers are designed for short to medium-term indoor use. In normal foot traffic conditions on clean, sealed hard floors, they typically perform for approximately 1-3 months. High-traffic zones, wet areas, or outdoor installation will reduce this lifespan considerably. They are intended as a temporary to semi-temporary product - practical for event builds, seasonal campaigns, and installations that need to be refreshed or removed regularly.

Not recommended for:

• Unsealed, porous, or textured concrete (poor adhesion)

Indoor durability under normal foot traffic is typically 1-3 months. High-traffic zones will see shorter lifespans; low-traffic areas may last longer. These are general estimates - actual performance depends on floor type, foot traffic volume, and cleaning regime.

Floor stickers are produced on a standard 2-5 day Australian print schedule. A 24-hour express print option is available - select at checkout or contact the team to confirm availability for your order. A digital proof is provided within 1-2 business days of ordering, and production begins after proof approval. Two rounds of edits are included before production begins.

Application:

• Clean the floor surface thoroughly - remove dust, grease, and cleaning product residue. A clean, dry surface is essential for strong adhesion.
• Peel the backing and apply the sticker flat to the floor, pressing firmly from the centre outward to eliminate air pockets.
• Press down edges firmly - corners in particular - to prevent the sticker from peeling under foot traffic.
• Avoid applying over floor joins, grout lines, or uneven surfaces where an edge may catch underfoot.
• Allow at least 1-2 hours for the adhesive to bond before the area is opened to foot traffic.

Artwork requirements: Supply files in PDF, SVG, or Adobe Illustrator (.ai or .eps) format in CMYK colour mode at the full output size with bleed. For wayfinding arrows and text elements, ensure content is legible at floor level from a standing position - a minimum of 50mm text height is generally recommended for directional copy read from 1-1.5 metres away.

Removal: Peel from a corner at a low angle. On sealed floors, most adhesive lifts cleanly with the sticker. Any remaining adhesive residue can be cleaned with an appropriate solvent. For large-format floor graphics, a heat gun can assist adhesive softening during removal.
