What happens between upload and printing?
Your upload goes to a person. They check it and note low resolution, text too close to the trim, or a cut path that cannot be followed cleanly. The proof is sent in 1 to 2 business days. The order waits for your approval.
How can I get help with the artwork?
Artwork Fix reworks your editable PDF or SVG, handling scaling, cropping, colour changes, added text, logos, layout, and background removal. This package adds 1 working day to the proof stage. Custom Design adds a designer and revisions; it adds 2 working days to that stage.
Can I order more or a size not listed?
Quantities from 1 to 10 are one at a time. Quantities from 20 to 100 are in steps of 10. For over 100, or a size not on the order form, the Get Custom Quote button is available.
How are brand colours matched?
CMYK files are required. A Pantone code is matched as near as the method can manage. Screen colour usually appears brighter than print. The proof checks wording and placement, not exact tone.
How can I keep the cost down?
The low cost selection is A3, 3mm, One Sided, Rectangle, no holes. At the same size and quantity, the thicker board, Double Sided, non-rectangle cuts and corner holes cost more. Larger listed sizes cost more than smaller ones, and each PVC sign costs less as the quantity in one order rises.

Size, thickness and printed sides
The size choices are A3, A2 and A1. A3 is the default size. The thickness choices are 3mm and 5mm. The 3mm board is the lighter option, and the 5mm option is the thicker, stiffer option.
- One Sided: one face carries the artwork.
- Double Sided: artwork goes on both faces, and the file has the front face first.
Each finished panel is a rigid sign board.
Straight edge or your own outline
The cutting choices are Rectangle and Custom Shapes. Rectangle gives a straight edge on all sides. The other choice is router cut, and the dieline in your artwork tells the router where to cut.
That line is a MAGENTA spot colour called DIELINE, on its own top layer, saved in the PDF. If you do not supply a dieline, the cut line is prepared from the artwork and appears on the proof.
Setting up the print file
The setup sheet is on the Artwork Guidelines tab. It gives the PVC Signs printing specification for PDF and JPEG files.
- PDF files: CMYK; fonts are outlines; linked elements are embedded; scale is 100% at ordered size; key text and graphics sit 5mm or more inside the trim; borders are 5mm thick or more.
- JPEG files: CMYK; resolution is 250 to 300 ppi; key text and graphics sit 10mm or more inside the trim; borders are 10mm thick or more.
Files up to 20MB can be uploaded online. A file over 20MB is shared by email with a Google Drive or Dropbox link. The artwork guide has the file notes.
PVC sign comparisons
The plastic boards in this range are corflute and PVC. The corflute signs product is a fluted polypropylene board, rectangle cut only, in 600 x 450, 600 x 900 and 900 x 1200 mm.
The acrylic reception panel signs product is 3mm acrylic sheet in clear, black, white, matte, mirror and frosted options, at A2 or A1, with digital print or vinyl foil. Aluminium signs use 3mm aluminium composite panel and are available as a rectangle or a router cut shape.

Standalone sign options
This order form does not include a stand or strut. The foam board uses a polystyrene foam core with paper liners, is indoor only, and has an optional strut back on one sided boards.
The corflute A-frames are freestanding folding footpath frames with two printed 600 x 900 mm faces.
