Clear Labels

Transparent labels are the choice when the container's own surface, glass, or material should stay visible behind the artwork. Printed on a clear synthetic film, they carry your logo, text, and graphics without a visible border or edge, so the design appears to sit directly on the surface. That means no white border appears around the artwork, which is the main visual difference from paper stocks. For bottles, jars, and premium products, this keeps the pack surface as the backdrop and produces a clean, minimal finish. The decision this product settles is whether the substrate should disappear or present a defined paper edge.

Printing uses a clear synthetic film with a gloss varnish, and HP Indigo digital presses keep the color resistant to fading and moisture. The gloss varnish adds a smooth, reflective finish over the printed area. Printed color on clear stock appears slightly lighter than it would on white paper. When a design needs full opacity or includes white text elements, a white ink underprint can be placed behind the artwork. The design team reviews every file and recommends whether white underprinting would improve visibility before the order moves to proofing. The material choice stays consistent across all listed dimensions, so the finish does not change with size.

Each design is supplied on one roll, with a minimum of 500 labels per design. Standard dimensions cover small jar fronts through tall bottle panels. Each size is given in millimeters. Choose a single design or split the run across multiple designs, each on its own roll. Splitting the run allows one label type to serve several product variants without changing the stock.

The file you send should contain the complete design without a white background, so the container shows through. You do not need to add a label border or a cut line on the artwork itself. Keeping the file borderless means the printed edge becomes whatever the container shape dictates. When you proof the job, you may specify the roll's unwind direction if an automated line applies it in a set orientation.

Once applied, it reads as a printed layer rather than a stuck-on card. There is no edge to lift or catch, and no white outline appears around the artwork. The container's surface stays visible through the unprinted areas, so the finished pack keeps its original material and color. Because no visible edge exists, the label does not interrupt the container's curve or surface pattern. This keeps the pack front clean and makes the printed layer part of the container rather than a separate element.

Clear labels differ from shaped stocks in the edge they present. Circle Labels present a round outline, while these labels have no visible border around the artwork. Rounded Corner Labels keep a soft rectangular edge, but the container surface becomes the background here. Matching a label color to the container becomes unnecessary, which saves a design step.
