Start with the everyday setting. For an office kitchen or cafe counter, the Classic 11oz is the workhorse: familiar size, a print area that covers the full height, and a finish that survives the dishwasher. The Large 15oz suits the person who drinks a bigger cup. Choose the Colour Inside 11oz when the mug needs a black, pink, yellow, blue, green or red interior as an accent.
Move to shape and canvas. The Tall Latte 17oz gives a taller print area for a bigger motif or a design that runs down the mug. The Slim Porcelain 10oz is the elegant option for a client gift, with a glossy finish and a slim profile. The full custom mugs range also covers the Magic 11oz, which stays black until a hot drink reveals the design, and the Enamel Camp 12oz, a lightweight outdoor cup with a white enamel coating and a silver rim.
The print area stops short of the handle on all seven styles, so any design that relies on a continuous run should be checked with that gap in mind.
Designing personalised mugs: photos, names and logos
For personalised mugs, the print area is the brief. On the Classic 11oz, Colour Inside 11oz and Magic 11oz, the area is 200 x 96mm across the white outer surface. The Large 15oz opens to 213 x 103mm. The Tall Latte 17oz gives approximately 204 x 136mm, the Slim Porcelain 10oz 175 x 75mm, and the Enamel Camp 12oz 180 x 60mm. The handle side stays blank on every style, so keep names, faces and key elements on the opposite side.
Mug printing is easier when the file is built to that area. A photo mug made from one high-resolution image should place the face or subject away from the handle so no part disappears behind it.
Names work as one cart line per name. If a team of eight wants each mug to carry a different name, add eight cart lines, each with its own artwork. Every file is checked by a member of the team before it reaches production, and you will be contacted if the artwork needs attention.
The Magic 11oz changes the design brief. It is black when empty and the design appears only once a hot drink is poured in, so plan for the reveal: the cold mug will look plain black, and the hot mug will show the artwork. Colour Inside 11oz prints on the white outside and adds the interior and handle colour, so the interior choice is part of the design, not an afterthought.
If the image is a group photo or would sit more comfortably on a bigger surface, a canvas prints order can carry the same photo at wall size.

The per-mug price steps down at quantities 3, 5, 8, 20, 30, 40 and 50. At a single mug, the Classic 11oz is $26.95. At 50, the same style is $23.45 per mug. The Large 15oz and Colour Inside 11oz cost $29.95 each when you order one, then move to $26.75 per mug at 50. The Tall Latte 17oz, Slim Porcelain 10oz, Magic 11oz and Enamel Camp 12oz cost $39.95 each when you order one, then move to $35.95 per mug at 50.
More than 50 mugs is handled by quote. Email printshop@paperlust.co with the style, quantity and artwork direction. Delivery is charged once per order, so the order carries one delivery charge rather than a charge per mug.
Worked example: 20 office mugs. An order of 20 Classic 11oz pieces uses the 20-unit price step. The per-mug price for that quantity sits below the $26.95 single mug figure and above the $23.45 per-mug rate at 50. The product page shows the live figure before payment, and one $10 standard delivery charge covers the whole order.
Which mug styles can handle the dishwasher
In a staff kitchen with a dishwasher, stick to the styles listed as dishwasher and microwave safe: Classic 11oz, Large 15oz, Tall Latte 17oz and Slim Porcelain 10oz. That covers the everyday office mug, the large morning cup, the latte mug and the porcelain gift mug.
Colour Inside 11oz is microwave safe but hand wash, so it suits a desk mug more than a shared kitchen that runs everything through the dishwasher. The Magic 11oz needs hand washing and cannot go in the microwave. The Enamel Camp 12oz is not dishwasher or microwave safe, which is fine for camping and outdoor use but not for an office dishwasher cycle.

Upload the design, photo, logo or text when you order. A member of the team checks every file before it goes to production and contacts you if something needs attention. Each mug is printed in full colour and made to order in Australia, then shipped in protective packaging.
Production takes 3 to 5 working days. Add $10 standard delivery per order, Australia wide, at checkout. Express delivery is not available on these products. Pickup from the Oakleigh South studio at 23 Manton Road, Oakleigh South VIC 3167 is available instead of delivery at no charge.
If the mugs are needed for a specific date, write that date in the Special Request box at checkout and the team will reply about whether it can be met. Production times are estimates, peak periods before Christmas can add time, and delivery dates cannot be promised.
