You have priced the sign in your head since the day the neighbouring shop put one on the footpath, and now the budget line needs a number you can defend. A cafe, shop or salon owner usually wants the sign out the front first, not a follow-up phone call for a quote. The a-frame sign cost in Australia starts at $95 for a Corflute A Frames sign and is $139 for one complete A-Frame Signs sign, Frame + 2 Printed Panels, in 600 x 900 mm panels. Add $15 standard delivery and the total is $154. Choose $60 express and it is $199. Or pick up the order from our Oakleigh South studio in Melbourne at no charge. Production for 1 to 3 A-Frame Signs takes 24 hours once you approve the proof by 2pm Melbourne time.
The figures on this page are not estimates. Every price was read from the live price list on 22 October 2026 and includes GST. The tables below are the answer: what you pay for one sign, what changes at quantity, and what delivery adds per order.

What A-frame sign cost looks like in Australia right now
The cost of an A-frame sign sits across three products, and the entry point is lower than many shop owners expect. A-Frame Signs is a black steel frame holding two printed 600 x 900 mm panels of 5mm corflute, one panel on each face. Corflute A Frames is a frameless folding A-frame made from one scored corflute sheet, with 600 x 900 mm of printed display area per side. Before folding, the sheet measures 600 x 2410 mm. Real Estate A-Frame is a 600 x 450 mm moulded plastic A-frame printed on both sides, in a white or black frame at the same price.
The difference matters at the budget stage. A-Frame Signs is the sign you keep when the offer changes, because the panels and the frame are separate line items. Corflute A Frames is one sheet, scored and folded, so the sign and the printed surface are the same object. Real Estate A-Frame has the highest single-sign total of the three at $147.50, with a smaller face and a moulded plastic body.
The entry totals are $139 for one complete A-Frame Signs sign, $95 for one Corflute A Frames sign and $147.50 for one Real Estate A-Frame. Every figure includes GST and was read from the live price list on 22 October 2026. The whole range, including panels and frames, lives on the a-frames and sandwich boards category page.
A-frame sign prices: three products at a glance
Every a-frame sign price below is the total including GST, shown at the listed size and configuration for each product. The per-sign figure in brackets is what each unit costs at that quantity. Use the first column to pick the product, then read across to the quantity you need.
| A-frame (size, configuration) | Qty 1 | Qty 2 | Qty 5 | Qty 10 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A-Frame Signs, 600 x 900 mm panels, Frame + 2 Printed Panels | $139 ($139 each) | $270 ($135 each) | $660 ($132 each) | $1,290 ($129 each) |
| Corflute A Frames, 600 x 2410 mm flat sheet, TEKflute A-Frame, 2 panel | $95 ($95 each) | $155.98 ($77.99 each) | $255.96 ($51.19 each) | $401.53 ($40.15 each) |
| Real Estate A-Frame, 600 x 450 mm, Moulded Plastic A-Frame, Double Sided | $147.50 ($147.50 each) | $295 ($147.50 each) | $722.75 ($144.55 each) | $1,430.75 ($143.07 each) |
Compare the Corflute A Frames row with the A-Frame Signs row. One Corflute A Frames sign is $95, and two signs total $155.98, which brings the per-sign figure to $77.99 each. The complete A-Frame Signs sign starts at $139 for one and reaches $1,290 at ten, which is $129 each. The higher total is the steel frame and two printed panels, not a quantity penalty. The Real Estate A-Frame row stays closer to its one-sign price as quantity moves, from $147.50 at one to $143.07 at ten.
What moves the price of an A-frame sign
The main lever is which part of the A-Frame Signs product you buy. The table splits the same steel frame system into its three buying options.
| A-Frame Signs option | Qty 1 | Qty 2 | Qty 5 | Qty 10 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A-Frame Signs, Frame + 2 Printed Panels | $139 ($139 each) | $270 ($135 each) | $660 ($132 each) | $1,290 ($129 each) |
| 2 Printed Panels Only | $76 ($76 each) | $124 ($62 each) | $195 ($39 each) | $310 ($31 each) |
| Frame Only | $99 ($99 each) | $198 ($99 each) | $495 ($99 each) | $990 ($99 each) |
The complete sign option is $139 at one, and the frame-only option is $99. If you already own the frame, one set of 2 Printed Panels Only is $76. Quantity is the second lever. On the A-Frame Signs complete sign row, the total moves from $139 at one to $1,290 at ten, and the per-sign figure falls from $139 to $129. On the Corflute A Frames row, one sign is $95 and ten signs total $401.53, which is $40.15 each.
The third lever is the frame type. The black steel frame with printed panels starts at $139 as a complete sign. The frameless folding Corflute A Frames sign is $95. The moulded plastic Real Estate A-Frame is $147.50. A different design on each side of the sign does not add to the price.
Production, delivery and the total cost of an order
Delivery is charged per order, not per sign. Standard delivery is $15 and express is $60, both including GST. The same two fees apply whether you order one sign or twenty signs of an A-frame product.
Work through the common order. One A-Frame Signs sign, Frame + 2 Printed Panels, is $139. Add standard delivery and the total is $154. Choose express delivery and the total is $199. Pick up from the Oakleigh South studio in Melbourne and you pay no delivery fee.
Timing depends on the product. Once you approve the proof by 2pm Melbourne time, production for 1 to 3 A-Frame Signs takes 24 hours. Corflute A Frames takes 1 to 2 working days after the proof is approved. After dispatch, standard shipping with Australia Post takes 2 to 5 business days to metro areas and 4 to 6 business days to regional areas.
Choosing an A-frame sign for a cafe in Melbourne
For a cafe or shopfront that swaps offers through the year, the A-Frame Signs steel frame with two printed 600 x 900 mm panels is the practical choice. The black steel frame can stay in place and the panels can be replaced as a separate order, so the next menu board does not mean a whole new sign. If you want the lowest single-sign total, the frameless folding Corflute A Frames sign is $95. The Real Estate A-Frame is a 600 x 450 mm moulded plastic A-frame printed on both sides, in a white or black frame at the same price.
Melbourne businesses have a pickup option at our Oakleigh South studio, so a local cafe can collect the sign without a delivery fee when that fits the week better. A cafe might run one side with the breakfast offer and the other with the afternoon trade. If you are still choosing between the steel frame and the folding sign, the A-frame sizes, materials and setup guide works through the practical differences.
How to get the best per-sign cost without changing what you get
Buy the frame once and treat the panels as the replaceable part. For the A-Frame Signs product, one set of 2 Printed Panels Only is $76, and five sets total $195, which works out to $39 per set. That is how a shop with one steel frame can keep the cost of an updated sign low over time.
Check the next quantity break before you add to cart. One Corflute A Frames sign is $95, while five signs total $255.96 and bring the per-sign figure to $51.19 each. Use the second face for a different design without adding to the price, so one sign carries two messages on the same structure. If you are in Melbourne, collect from Oakleigh South and skip the delivery fee. Before you set the sign on the footpath, the guide on displaying A-frame signs on the footpath covers placement so the sign you paid for actually works. The live product page is the only figure that matters on the day, so check it before you commit. A small change in quantity or pickup moves the real cost more than waiting for the price list to shift.
