Volume quantities (500 and 1,000) are printed offset for the sharpest result and the lowest price per box on larger orders. You simply choose your quantity; we match it to the right press. Because the two tiers run on different presses, colour reproduction can differ slightly between a small-batch and a volume run.
Can I order a small batch first to preview a volume run?
Yes, and it is a smart way to check your design in hand before committing to a larger order. Keep in mind that small-batch and volume orders are produced on different machines, so a small-batch box is an accurate preview of a small-batch run, but colour reproduction can differ slightly on a volume run. If you are planning a volume order, tell us when you order your small batch and we will guide you.
How long does production take?
Small-batch digital orders take around 3 to 7 working days from proof approval. Volume offset orders take around 2 to 3 weeks. If you are ordering for a peak period such as Christmas, we recommend allowing extra lead time.
What material are the boxes made from?
Boxes are made from B-flute corrugated board with a smooth white liner for sharp full-colour print. B-flute is light to post and strong enough to protect your product in transit.
What size mailer box do I need?
Measure your product as it will be packed, including any tissue or padding, and allow roughly 15 to 25mm of clearance on each side. As a guide: Small (265 x 200 x 90mm) suits a folded tee, a candle or a small cosmetics set; Medium (310 x 240 x 110mm) fits a skincare kit, a book or most subscription boxes; Large (425 x 295 x 110mm) works for shoes, apparel bundles and larger hampers. Custom sizes are available on request.
Can I print the inside of the box?
Yes, inside print is available on request and adds 50% to the box price. Add a note when you order and our team will confirm the inside-print quote with your proof. Outside print on all exterior panels is included as standard.
Do mailer boxes need tape to close?
No. The roll end tuck front style is self-locking, so the box holds closed on its own for display and gifting. For items shipped through a carrier we recommend a strip of tape across the closure to keep the flap secure in transit.
