What’s the difference between standard and premium business cards?
Standard business cards are printed digitally in CMYK on five stocks: 300 GSM Matte, 300 GSM Linen, 300 GSM Cotton, 300 GSM Metallic and 450 GSM Artboard with Velvet Laminate. You can order from 50 cards, with printing on the front only or front and back.
Premium products are separate ranges that add a specialist finish. Flat foil, raised foil, spot UV and Scodix add metallic, gloss and raised effects. Raised foil, spot UV and Scodix run on 450 GSM Artboard with Velvet Laminate and start at 250 cards.
Can I print photos on standard business cards?
Yes. Photos, gradients and complex artwork can be printed on standard business cards, because the range is produced with digital CMYK printing.
What paper stock do you recommend?
300 GSM Matte for a clean, non-reflective finish.
450 GSM Artboard with Velvet Laminate for the heaviest card in the range.
How thick are standard business cards?
Standard business cards range from 300 GSM to 450 GSM. The light end is the 300 GSM stock (Matte, Linen, Cotton and Metallic), and the heavy end is 450 GSM Artboard with Velvet Laminate.
Do you offer design templates?

Can I upgrade to premium finishes later?
Absolutely! Start with standard cards, then upgrade to foil, Scodix, or spot UV when you’re ready.
How long does production take?
24 hour production is available on 300 GSM Matte only.
Every other stock and finish runs 1 to 2 business days.
Die-cut shapes (Circle, Oval and Custom Shapes) do not qualify for 24 hour production because cutting the shape adds 1 to 2 business days.
The digital proof is sent within 1 to 2 business days, and production starts after you approve it.
Production times may extend slightly during peak periods.

What format should I provide my artwork to you in?
File Type
We prefer artwork in PDF, SVG and Adobe Illustrator formats. Please add 3mm bleed and crop marks whenever possible.
Fonts & Artworks
Make sure all fonts are outlined/vectorized, and all images/artwork embedded.
Dieline
Dieline needs to be in 100% Magenta Spot Colour and placed on the top layer.
Will I receive a design proof before it’s printed?
Yes we will send a final design proof to your email. We will not proceed to print until we receive your design approval.

The $44.00 price for 100 cards, which is $0.44 per card, is quoted on the pricing baseline of 300 GSM Matte, front only, no laminate and rectangle. The 50-card minimum is $27.20 inc. GST ($0.54 per card) on that same baseline. That combination sets the entry price. It is not a limit on what the product can be. At 5,000 cards, the per-card floor on that same configuration is $0.08.
If you want a laminated finish, your option is velvet laminate on the 450 GSM Artboard with Velvet Laminate stock. The four 300 GSM stocks are supplied with no laminate. Choosing heavier stock, double-sided printing or a custom shape moves the price from that floor, but the drop across the ladder is steep either way.
