Shop Window Decals

For shop window decals, six ready layouts are available: five are filled in by our team with your details, while the Now open layout has fixed wording.

• Opening hours layout: cut vinyl with the heading OPENING HOURS, a straight line under it, short rows with days on the left and times on the right and the word CLOSED on days you do not open.
• Business name and phone layout: cut vinyl with the business name in large capitals above the phone number.
• Now open layout: cut vinyl with the word NOW between two short bars above a large OPEN.
• Sale layout: cut vinyl with a large SALE above UP TO, the percentage and OFF.
• Scan QR code layout: printed panel in bottle green with the heading SCAN TO ORDER, the QR code on a white tile, a short line telling people to point their camera at it and the business name.
• Logo and business name layout: printed badge or wide panel with your logo, business name and phone number.

You type the opening hours, business name and phone number, the percentage or the QR link depending on the layout, and upload a logo only when the layout uses one.

The opening hours decal is a cut vinyl opening hours sign at 600 x 260mm. The layout sets OPENING HOURS as the heading over a straight bar, with MON, TUE, WED and THU on the left and FRI, SAT and SUN on the right. Type the opening and closing time for each day, and our team sets CLOSED on any day the shop does not open. Beside the glass door, the Business name and phone layout puts the business name in large capitals above the phone number in sizes from 300 x 150mm to 600 x 260mm.

For new shopfronts, the Now open layout is fixed wording with no details to type and costs the same as own artwork for the same decal. The Sale layout puts a large SALE above UP TO, the percentage and OFF, and the buyer types the percentage. The Scan QR code layout is a 600 x 600mm printed panel in bottle green with the heading SCAN TO ORDER, a QR code on a white tile, a short line under the code, and the business name at the bottom. You supply the web link the QR code opens and the business name, and our team makes the QR code so it shows on the proof. Beyond the window, your shop may need qr code stickers on tables and counters, with counter cards beside the till.

Cut vinyl window lettering is cut from Avery 500 series 70 micron gloss calendered vinyl with a permanent adhesive, so the glass shows between and inside the letters like hand painted signwriting. Choose it for business names, opening hours and simple text in one of 13 colours: White, Black, Dark Grey, Red, Orange, Yellow, Kelly Green, Light Blue, Reflex Blue, Magenta, Gold, Rose Gold and Silver; the metal-effect films are for indoor and sheltered outdoor use and cost more than standard colours. Every letter must be at least 20mm tall and every stroke at least 5mm thick.

• Cut vinyl sizes: 600 x 260mm, 500 x 260mm, 400 x 200mm, 300 x 150mm, 200 x 100mm.

A printed window graphic is full colour digital print on Window Display White Film, an opaque white self adhesive vinyl that keeps colours bright against daylight. Choose it for a logo badge, a photograph or a full colour panel on flat smooth glass.

• Printed sizes: 600 x 600mm, 1000 x 1000mm, 2000 x 1000mm, in a Rectangle or Custom Shapes cut.

Custom window decals are ordered by picking a ready layout, then choosing the material, size, colour and cut and adding it to the cart. On the Upload Artwork step type details into one text box, up to 1000 characters, and upload a logo if the layout uses one. Our team sets the details and sends a digital proof; nothing is made until you approve it. The Opening hours, Business name and phone, Now open, Sale and Scan QR code layouts cost the same as own artwork, while the Logo and business name layout adds a $15 set-up fee per design. Upload my own artwork is for a vector PDF, SVG or AI file with outlined text for cut vinyl, or a print ready PDF or high resolution image with 3mm bleed for printed graphics. Custom design adds two design options on the first proof and three rounds of revisions for a one off $49.90 design fee. Apply the decal to the outside face of the glass: clean the glass, position the decal, press it down firmly, then peel away the transfer tape on cut vinyl or the backing on printed graphics. All prices include GST. An Opening hours layout at 600 x 260mm in a standard cut vinyl colour is $65 for one decal, $117 for two and $260 for five; the same layout in Gold, Rose Gold or Silver is $78 for one. Business name and phone layout prices are $35 at 300 x 150mm, $45 at 400 x 200mm and $65 at 600 x 260mm. Now open and Sale layouts are $45 at 400 x 200mm, $55 at 500 x 260mm and $65 at 600 x 260mm. Cut vinyl own artwork at 200 x 100mm in a standard colour is $25. The Scan QR code layout at 600 x 600mm printed is $94.90. The Logo and business name layout at 600 x 600mm printed is $109.90 with the Rectangle cut and $129.82 with the Custom Shapes cut. Printed own artwork at 2000 x 1000mm with the Rectangle cut is $197.70. Every other combination is priced live in the configurator. Cut vinyl lettering production takes 3 to 5 working days after the design proof is approved.
