Vehicle Signage Decals
Vehicle Signage Decals are large full colour decals for the flat sides of vans, ute canopies, truck bodies and trailers. They print from your own artwork and are supplied ready to apply.
The material is white polymeric air release vinyl with a permanent grey adhesive, an air release liner and a polymeric gloss laminate.
Choose from 1500 x 500mm, 2000 x 600mm, 2500 x 800mm, 3000 x 1000mm or 4000 x 1200mm. Rectangle gives straight edges and square corners, while Custom Shapes cut around the outline of the design. Order a pair for both sides of the vehicle, for trades vans, removalist trucks, couriers, landscapers, cleaners, food trucks and small business fleets.

How do I apply a large decal?
Prepare the panel with water and isopropyl alcohol, tape the decal up, then peel a little at a time and smooth it on with a soft cloth. Because a Rectangle or Custom Shapes decal is one piece on its own backing, transfer tape is not needed. A local sign installer can fit large decals.
Do the decals come off later?
The adhesive is permanent and made to stay on. Taking a decal off later is a job for a sign installer.
What file should I supply?
Upload a print ready PDF or high resolution image at the size ordered, with 3mm bleed on every edge, fonts outlined and images embedded in CMYK. For Custom Shapes, thin parts and holes in the design need to be at least 5mm.

The five sizes suit different vehicle panels
The five sizes are measured for the flat panel area.
- 1500 x 500mm suits a ute canopy side, a trailer side or the rear side panel of a van.
- 2000 x 600mm suits the side of a short or mid size van.
- 2500 x 800mm suits a long wheelbase van side or a food trailer.
- 3000 x 1000mm suits a long wheelbase van side from behind the front door to the rear.
- 4000 x 1200mm suits a truck body or a large trailer.

The material is built for smooth panels
Vehicle decals are printed on white air release vinyl. The adhesive is permanent grey. The air release liner leaves fine channels in the adhesive so trapped air can be pushed out to the edges while you smooth the decal. A gloss laminate covers the print and protects the surface. Fit the decal on smooth painted vehicle panels.
Two cutting choices give different panel edges
For van decals, Rectangle gives straight edges and square corners at the size ordered. Custom Shapes cut the decal as one piece around the outline of the design, so the paint of the vehicle shows around it. Holes inside the shape are fine. Any thin part, such as a stem or a narrow join, needs to be at least 5mm wide, and any hole or cut-out needs to be at least 5mm across. Parts of a design that do not touch, such as separate letters or a phone number set apart from the logo, need a background shape or white edge joining them. Any part of the artwork with no colour prints as white vinyl. Supply the cut line as a dieline: a path on a separate top layer of the artwork file set to 100% Magenta Spot Colour. The dieline is not printed. If a design crosses a sliding door, a panel gap or a handle, split it into separate decals in the artwork, one for each panel. Both sides can carry separate artwork
Order a pair for the left and right sides of a vehicle. You can upload a different file for each side, so the sides can differ, for example where a sliding door is on one side only.
