Magnetic car signs are full colour printed magnets for the doors of a ute, van or car, sold as a pair for both front doors or as a single piece for a tailgate, rear door or one side. Each sign is printed on 0.8mm flexible magnetic sheet with a gloss laminate, so it holds to flat steel panels without adhesive, removes clean and can be repositioned.
You can order one of five ready layouts that our team fills in with your details and logo, choose Upload my own artwork, or choose Custom design. For the layout service, pick your layout, size and Pair or Single piece, add to cart, then type the sign details and upload a logo on the Upload Artwork step. Our team sets the details into the layout and emails a PDF proof; nothing prints until you approve the proof.

Frequently Asked Questions
What size magnetic sign should I order for my ute, van or car door?
Measure the flat part of the door first. 600 x 300mm is the most popular size and covers a full door panel on most cars, utes and vans. Choose 440 x 290mm where a 600mm sign would run past the edge, or 290 x 220mm for small car doors, tailgates or a second message.
Does a pair mean two signs with the same design?
Yes. A pair is one cart line with the same design on two pieces, one for each front door. A single piece is for a tailgate, rear door or one side.
Does a layout cost more than uploading my own artwork?
The five layouts include setup at $15 per design on top of the own artwork price for the same size and quantity. Own artwork has no layout setup fee and is checked at the proof stage.
Can I put my licence number on the sign?
Yes. The Licence number layout holds a licence number line set at about half the height of the largest lettering. Type the licence line exactly as your licence shows it and check the rule with your licensing body.
How does the QR code work and what does it open?
The Website and QR code layout includes a QR code and the line SCAN FOR A QUOTE. Our team makes the code from the link you type, usually your website or a quote form page.
Will the magnets stick to every vehicle?
No. They hold to flat steel panels only, not to aluminium, fibreglass or plastic. If a fridge magnet holds on the panel, a car magnet will.
How do I look after the magnets so they do not mark the paint?
Remove the magnets every 2 to 3 days, clean the magnet backing and the panel, then put them back. This stops moisture and dust being trapped against the paint. Store them flat.
Can the colours match my logo or brand?
Yes. The layouts are shown in sample colours, and our team sets each sign in the colours of your logo. You can also name your colours in the details box.
What is the Custom design option and what does it cost?
A Paperlust designer creates the sign from your logo, details and references. It includes two design options on the first proof and three rounds of revisions for a one-off $49.90 design fee.
What does delivery cost and how long does delivery take?
Standard delivery is $15 per order and takes 2 to 5 business days to metro areas after dispatch. Express delivery is $60 per order, and free pickup is available from 23 Manton Road, Oakleigh South VIC 3167.

Prices, delivery and pickup
These vehicle magnets are priced in the page configurator, all including GST. A layout pair at 600 x 300mm is $148.24, two pairs are $188.87, five pairs are $348.41 and ten pairs are $624.65. A single piece in a 600 x 300mm layout is $129.44. Layout pairs are $136.37 at 440 x 290mm and $116.54 at 290 x 220mm. Own artwork at 600 x 300mm is $133.24 for a pair and $114.44 for a single piece, while a 125 x 125mm own artwork piece is $81. The configurator prices every other combination.
