High Tack Stickers
Custom high tack stickers are printed in full colour on an 80 micron matt white PVC film with a grey high tack permanent adhesive. Each sticker is individually cut and supplied loose, ready to press onto surfaces where a standard sticker lifts.
The aggressive pressure sensitive adhesive is engineered for smooth to rough wall surfaces. It holds on smooth concrete, brick and patterned tile, and stays put on steel, glass, painted surfaces and metal.
The default finish is no laminate. Matte laminate or gloss laminate is available as an optional clear protective film over the printed face.

What is a high tack sticker?
A high tack sticker is a custom printed sticker on matt white PVC vinyl with a grey high tack permanent adhesive. The adhesive is an aggressive pressure sensitive type made to grip smooth to rough surfaces where a normal sticker lifts.
How is a high tack sticker different from a standard vinyl sticker?
The adhesive is the difference. High tack stickers use a grey solvent based acrylic permanent adhesive with stronger pressure sensitive adhesion for surfaces such as brick, concrete and patterned tile.
Will high tack stickers stick to brick or concrete?
Yes. The adhesive is engineered for smooth concrete and brick. On rough concrete the deepest crevices must be under 3mm deep, and the film needs to be pressed down well.
Are high tack stickers suitable for outdoors?
Yes. The film has excellent weather resistance. The supplier durability guide allows up to 5 years on normal surfaces such as steel and glass in vertical exposure.
How long do high tack stickers last?
Durability depends on the surface. Printed durability is up to 2 years without laminate, while media durability can reach 5 years. On rough unpainted concrete or cement the film guide lists 3 to 6 months.
Is the adhesive removable?
No. This is a permanent adhesive. High tack stickers are not made to be lifted and reapplied.
Do high tack stickers need laminate?
No. Laminate is optional. The default finish is No Laminate, and a matte or gloss laminate can be added as a clear protective layer over the printed face.
What sizes, shapes and quantities are available?
There are nine preset sizes from 30 x 30mm to 120 x 120mm, with the largest preset size 120 x 120mm. Shapes include Square or Rectangle, Circle, Oval or Rounded Corners, and Custom Shape. You can order from 50 to 5,000 stickers per order.
Are high tack stickers supplied on a roll?
No. Each sticker is individually cut and supplied loose, not on a roll.
Can my design have small text or a QR code?
Wide format printing is not recommended for text under 6pt, small barcodes or QR codes. Keep small type and codes larger for the best result.

What high tack means on a custom sticker
Custom high tack stickers are printed on an 80 micron matt white PVC film, 130 micron thick with the adhesive. The grey solvent based acrylic permanent adhesive has high performance aggressive pressure sensitive adhesion, engineered for smooth to rough wall surfaces including smooth concrete, brick and patterned tile, with excellent weather resistance. For everyday smooth surfaces such as packaging, bottles and laptops, where a standard permanent adhesive is enough, choose our vinyl stickers.
Surfaces and how long the film holds
The figures below come from the supplier durability guide for the unprinted film in vertical exposure:
- Up to 5 years on normal surfaces such as steel and glass
- 1 year on smooth unpainted concrete, smooth unpainted cement, smooth tile, smooth painted surfaces and smooth metal
- 3 to 6 months on rough unpainted concrete or cement
- 6 months on patterned tile and rough painted surfaces
On rough surfaces the deepest crevices must be under 3mm deep. Press the film down with care. Apply to flat surfaces above 10 degrees. The optimum range is 18 to 25 degrees.

Finish options
No Laminate is the default. Without laminate the printed face has a print durability of up to 2 years. Matte Laminate or Gloss Laminate adds a clear protective film over the printed face. The media durability is up to 5 years.
Where people use them
On masonry and rendered surfaces, high tack stickers suit wall graphics on brick and concrete. On painted or bare metal, they suit safety and instruction stickers on painted machinery and steel equipment, asset and locker stickers on metal, and bin and skip stickers. Glass doors and windows, plus tiled areas, round out the common placements.

Wide format printing is not recommended for text under 6pt, small barcodes or QR codes. Keep type and codes larger. Every sticker is individually cut and supplied loose, so if you need labels supplied on rolls for machine or high volume hand application, choose custom labels instead.
