Clear Stickers
Clear stickers let your design stand on its own, with no white border and no background competing for attention. Our clear and transparent stickers (also called see-through stickers) show the surface beneath, giving logos, product labels, and window decals a clean, professional finish that opaque stickers cannot match. When you order clear or transparent stickers from Paperlust Print Shop, the invisible-border effect works on glass, packaging, laptops, and anywhere the background is part of the design.
We print durable clear and transparent stickers using eco-solvent inks that resist fading, moisture, and scratching. For designs that need to stay vivid on dark surfaces or glass, we offer a white underprint layer printed behind your artwork, so colours reproduce accurately rather than appearing translucent. Our transparent stickers are produced in Melbourne and shipped Australia-wide.
Transparent stickers suit a wide range of applications: window decals for shopfronts and vehicle glass, product labels that blend into packaging, laptop branding where the device colour shows through, and inside-glass reverse printing for external viewing on bottles and jars.
Specification
- Maximum sticker size: 295mm x 425mm
- Minimum sticker size: 20mm x 20mm
- Minimum quantity: 20 quantity per design

Digital print and white ink (die cut shapes): 2-3 working days. Foil print (all shapes): 3-5 working days. Vinyl stickers (all shapes): 5-7 working days. Bumper stickers: 4-5 working days. Labels: All labels except foil labels: 2-3 working days. Foil labels: 4-5 working days. These estimates apply after your design proof is approved. While we strive to complete orders within 24 to 48 hours, production times may extend slightly during peak periods.
What format should I provide my artwork in?
File Type: We prefer artwork in PDF, SVG and Adobe Illustrator formats. Please add 3mm bleed and crop marks whenever possible. Fonts and Artworks: Make sure all fonts are outlined/vectorized, and all images/artwork embedded. Dieline: Dieline needs to be in 100% Magenta Spot Colour and placed on the top layer.
Will I receive a design proof before it's printed?
Yes we will send a final design proof to your email. We will not proceed to print until we receive your design approval.
Where is Paperlust Print Shop based? How long will the delivery take?
Our head office is located at 23 Manton Road, Oakleigh South, Victoria, Australia. For Australian addresses, we offer two shipping options you can choose: Express shipping: 1-2 business days for metro and 3-5 business days for regional (using Startrack). Standard shipping: 2-5 business days for metro and 4-6 business days for regional (using AusPost).
Can you ship worldwide? How long will it take?
We ship worldwide with flat AUD $35 charge (2-4 working days). We partner with DHL to ship our products express internationally.
Do you have an order minimum?
For stickers, our minimum is 10 quantities. While for labels, our minimum is 1 roll (500 labels).
Do you have waterproof stickers?
Absolutely! When you choose your sticker type, simply add the option for a laminated finish to ensure your stickers remain intact and durable, even when exposed to water, or select vinyl stickers for outdoor and waterproof usage.
I'm looking for cheap custom stickers
We've got you covered! Paperlust Print Shop sells stickers for as low as $0.07 AUD. The more you order, the cheaper the price per sticker!
Can Paperlust Print Shop design a logo?
Yes, we can! We offer a design artwork package, if you need assistance with your design, our expert designers will help and deliver a professional result to you. The Design Artwork Package includes 3 services that you can choose from: Artwork Fix ($19 AUD): Resize, tweak, or edit your existing design. Custom Design ($59 AUD): Create a new design from scratch. Logo Service ($19 to $75 AUD): Re-draw or create a new logo for your brand.
Are transparent stickers waterproof on glass and windows?
Yes. Our clear stickers are UV and water-resistant, designed for outdoor glass applications including storefront windows, vehicle glass, and bottles. An optional gloss laminate adds extra durability for high-traffic outdoor use. For dishwasher-safe bottle applications, vinyl stickers are the better pick.
How does white ink work behind transparent stickers?
Without a white underprint, colours on clear stickers appear translucent, which is fine for layered designs over light surfaces but not ideal for white text or full-colour logos on dark backgrounds. With a white underprint, we print an opaque white layer first, then your design on top, so colours reproduce true-to-proof on any surface. Specify whether you want full, half, or no underprint when you order, and our team will advise if needed.

Why Choose Clear Stickers
Clear stickers (also called transparent stickers, see through stickers, or translucent stickers) work where other sticker types fall short. Because the sticker material is transparent, your design appears to float directly on the surface, with no white rectangle around it. That effect is what makes clear and transparent stickers the go-to choice for product labels, window graphics, and branded packaging where a clean, uncluttered look matters.
Key reasons customers choose clear stickers:
- Invisible border effect. The clear background disappears on glass, acrylic, plastic, and most smooth surfaces, so only your artwork is visible.
- Versatile surface compatibility. Transparent stickers work on windows, bottles, jars, laptops, product boxes, and vehicle glass.
- Logo stickers with a clean finish. For clear stickers with a logo or brand mark, the no-border look makes the logo read as if it is printed directly onto the surface.
- White ink option for opacity. When your design includes white elements or needs to read against a dark surface, we can add a white underprint so nothing disappears into the background.
- Eco-solvent inks. Low-VOC inks resist fading and scratching for indoor and outdoor use.
- Locally printed. All clear stickers are produced at our Melbourne facility and shipped Australia-wide, including metro and regional postcodes.
- No setup fee, no custom shape fee. Die-cut to any shape from our standard range, minimum 10 units.
Clear vs Translucent vs Frosted
Not all see-through stickers behave the same way. Here is how the three main types compare so you can choose the right material for your application.
Clear (Transparent) Stickers
Clear stickers are fully see-through. Your design sits on a transparent film, so the surface beneath is fully visible through any unprinted areas. Colours printed on clear stickers appear slightly lighter than on white sticker stock, because the substrate does not reflect white back through the ink. Clear stickers are best where an invisible-border effect is the goal.
Translucent Sticker Printing Explained
Translucent stickers sit between clear and opaque. They diffuse light rather than transmitting it cleanly, creating a frosted or semi-opaque look. Colours on translucent stickers appear muted and backgrounds blur rather than showing through clearly. Custom translucent stickers suit privacy-screen applications, decorative frosted-glass effects, and packaging that needs a softer brand presence than fully clear sticker stock provides.
Frosted Stickers
Frosted stickers use a matte or satin material with a light-diffusing surface. They read as opaque from most viewing angles, with a soft texture. Frosted material is popular for window films and cosmetic packaging where a premium matte feel is part of the brand.
Which should you choose? If you want the surface to show through cleanly and your design to appear without a border, choose clear or transparent stickers. If you want a privacy or decorative effect, frosted or translucent stickers may be the better choice.
Versatile and Practical Applications for Clear and Transparent Stickers
Clear and transparent stickers cover a wide range of commercial and personal branding applications. Here are five of the most popular uses.
Product Labelling
Clear sticker labels give products a premium, minimal look. Because the label appears to float on the packaging, the product itself stays the visual focus. Transparent stickers are popular for cosmetic bottles, food jars, candles, and craft beverages where the no-label look is intentional.
Transparent Stickers for Glass and Windows
Transparent stickers for glass shopfronts, vehicle glass, mirrors, fridge doors, and laptop screens are one of our most common orders. The clear material bonds cleanly to smooth glass surfaces, and a gloss laminate gives extra durability against weather, condensation, and cleaning sprays. For inside-glass (reverse-print) applications, we add a white underprint so colours stay true when viewed from outside.
Packaging Seals
Transparent stickers work well as tamper seals and closure labels on boxes, bags, and pouches. The clear material keeps packaging looking clean rather than adding a visible white sticker on top of printed packaging design.
Promotional Giveaways and Logo Stickers
Clear stickers are a popular branded giveaway because recipients can apply them to laptops, phone cases, water bottles, and vehicle glass without a white border making the sticker look stuck-on. For clear stickers with a logo, your brand mark stands out cleanly on any surface and reads as if it is printed directly onto the product.
Informational Labels
Transparent stickers are useful for barcode labels, ingredient lists, and instructional notices on products where the label must be readable but visually unobtrusive. The clear background keeps packaging design cohesive.
Clear and Transparent Sticker Printing in Australia
All our clear and transparent stickers are printed at our facility in Oakleigh South, Victoria, and shipped Australia-wide. Fast local production means you are not waiting on international freight, and our team can review your transparent sticker artwork and advise on white underprint requirements before anything goes to press.
For most clear sticker orders, production takes 1-2 working days for rectangle and square shapes, and 2-3 working days for die-cut shapes, starting after your design proof is approved. Once dispatched, delivery to metro addresses takes 1-2 business days on express shipping or 2-5 business days on standard. Regional addresses receive orders in 3-5 business days on express or 4-6 business days on standard.
We dispatch via Startrack for express orders and AusPost for standard. Metro addresses across Australia sit within our 1-2 day express window from Melbourne. Our local Melbourne production gives us a turnaround advantage over overseas printers, and you deal directly with an Australian team for any artwork queries on your clear sticker order.

White Ink Underprint for Transparent Stickers
A white underprint is an opaque white layer printed behind your design on a clear sticker. Without it, colours on transparent stickers appear translucent, because the clear sticker material transmits light rather than reflecting it back through the ink the way white sticker stock does. For many designs this is intentional. For designs that need accurate colour reproduction or include white elements, the white underprint fixes it.
When to request a white underprint:
- White text or white graphic elements in your design. White ink on a clear sticker without a backing is invisible. A full white underprint makes white elements visible.
- Full-colour logos on dark surfaces or dark bottles. Without a white underprint, your brand colours will darken or shift against a dark background.
- Inside-glass (reverse-print) applications. When a sticker is applied to the inside of a window and viewed from outside, a white underprint ensures colours read correctly through the glass.
- High-contrast images on transparent stickers where tone accuracy matters, such as product photography or detailed illustrations.
When you do not need a white underprint:
- Designs over light or white surfaces where the background acts as a natural reflector.
- Intentional layered or translucent effects where seeing through the sticker is part of the design.
Worked example: If you are printing a logo with white type on a dark bottle, request a full white underprint. If you want a subtle frosted effect, ask for a 50% underprint. If your design is a coloured border or shape over a clear background on a light-coloured surface, no underprint is needed.
Specify whether you want full, half, or no white underprint when you submit your order, or ask our team and we will advise based on your artwork.
Transparent Stickers from $0.07 Each
Transparent clear stickers start from $0.07 AUD each on bulk orders. The more you order, the lower the cost per sticker. For smaller runs of 50 to 100 units the per-unit cost is higher, around $0.20 to $0.30 each, but there is no minimum order requirement on most formats above our 10-unit floor.
If you need a low-risk first run, order 50 to 100 units to test your design and scale up once you are happy with the result. There is no setup fee and no custom shape fee, so you pay only for the stickers you order.
