Printed table cloths turn a bare trestle table into a branded stand. Each cloth is manufactured from your own artwork and printed in full colour by dye sublimation onto polyester fabric. The process drives the dye into the fibres, which keeps the colour in the cloth rather than sitting on top of the fabric.
There are four styles: Loose Throw, Fitted Closed Back, Fitted Open Back, and Stretch. The cloths are cut for 4ft, 6ft, and 8ft trestle tables. Market stalls, schools, sports clubs, councils, real estate agents, and retail or hospitality teams use them when a plain table needs to look deliberate and complete.
Ordering is straightforward. Choose a size, style and quantity, upload your artwork, approve the emailed proof, and the cloth is made. If there is a fixed event date, mention it when ordering.

What is the difference between a Loose Throw and a fitted table cloth?

What these printed table cloths are and how they are made
Printed table cloths are custom table covers for standard rectangular trestle tables, made from your own artwork. We print them in full colour by dye sublimation on 230gsm polyester. The dye is heat transferred into the polyester fibres, so the print does not peel, crack or flake. Your artwork covers the top, the front, the back and both ends of the cloth. This makes them true custom tablecloths rather than off the shelf covers. The fabric is washable and folds flat for transport. The Stretch style uses 230gsm stretch polyester.
The four styles and which one suits each stand
The right style depends on how the stand is used. All four styles are full colour table covers.
- Loose Throw: drapes over the table with rounded corners and falls to the floor on all four sides. It is the most forgiving fit, and is also known as a table throw.
- Fitted Closed Back: sewn to the shape of the table with straight panels that reach the floor on all four sides. The closed back hides boxes and bags stored under the table.
- Fitted Open Back: sewn to the shape of the table. The front and both ends reach the floor, while the back panel is a half drop, so staff can sit with their legs under the table.
- Stretch: stretch polyester pulled taut over the table for a smooth, snug fit.

Artwork is laid out on a template for the chosen size and style, with 5mm bleed past the cut line and important content kept inside the safe area clear of the seams. The Artwork Guidelines section on this page now holds a template for every size and style combination you can order, each supplied in a PDF that opens in Adobe Illustrator or similar programs, and in a PNG overlay for Canva. Every order gets a design review and file check at no charge. A digital proof is emailed, and nothing is made until it is approved.
