Custom Cosmetic Labels is a single page for skincare and beauty makers who need printed roll labels for serum bottles, cream jars, tubes, pots, pump bottles and soap bars. Every label is printed one up and die cut to shape on a roll of 500, ready for hand application or a labelling machine. Choose from circle, rectangle, rounded corner, oval and custom die-cut shapes on White Synthetic, White Cast Paper or Clear Synthetic film.

To order, choose the shape, size, stock and finish, tell us how many designs you need, upload your artwork, and approve the emailed proof before anything prints. Up to five different designs can run in one order, each on its own roll.

  • For custom size enquiry, please contact printshop@paperlust.co
  • Waterproof surface: White Synthetic is waterproof and sticks to glass, plastic, metal and treated surfaces, so it suits packaging that meets condensation and splashes.
  • Laminate protection: Matte or gloss laminate adds a clear protective layer over the printed surface, so moisture, oils, cleaning agents and handling do not mark the label.
  • No label look: Clear Synthetic with Gloss Varnish creates a no label look on glass and coloured containers.
  • White ink underprint: White ink underprinting is available on Clear Synthetic for full opacity or white text elements.
  • Adhesive temperature range: The permanent emulsion acrylic adhesive is rated for service temperatures from minus 20 degrees Celsius to 80 degrees Celsius.
  • Finish contrast: Matte laminate reduces glare for labels read up close, while gloss laminate adds shine and depth for shelf appeal and product photography.
  • Digital colour: HP Indigo digital CMYK printing with Pantone matching available lets you specify brand colours on a label run.
Frequently Asked Questions
What size label fits a 30 ml serum bottle or a cream jar lid?

For a slim serum or dropper bottle face, choose 25 x 70 mm. A cream jar lid takes a 50 mm or 60 mm circle.

How much do 500 cosmetic labels cost?

A 500 label run on a 40 mm circle in White Synthetic with Matte Laminate costs $164.45 inc GST. The same quantity on Clear Synthetic with Gloss Varnish is $225.94.

What is the minimum order?

The minimum order is one roll of 500 labels per size. The quantity ladder runs from 500 to 5,000 in steps of 500.

Will the labels survive a bathroom shelf, water and oils?

White Synthetic with laminate is made for condensation, splashes and wet packaging. The laminate adds a clear protective layer over the printed surface, so moisture, oils, cleaning agents and handling do not mark the label. It is not rated for repeated dishwasher cycles.

Which stock suits an amber or clear glass bottle?

Clear Synthetic with Gloss Varnish gives the no label look on glass and coloured containers, including an amber or clear dropper bottle. White ink underprinting is available on this stock for full opacity or white text.

Can white ink be printed on clear film?

Yes. White ink underprinting is available on Clear Synthetic for full opacity or white text elements.

Can several products be labelled on one order?

Yes. Up to five different designs can be printed in one order, each design on its own roll.

How fast are the labels printed?

Production takes 48 hours after the design proof is approved. Printing is done in Melbourne.

Is a proof sent before printing?

A roll label made for cosmetic and skincare packaging

Every option on this page is a cosmetic label printed one up and die cut to shape, supplied as a roll of 500 labels. The rolls work for hand application or a labelling machine. Skincare labels here suit serum bottles, cream jars, tubes, pots, pump bottles and soap bars. Circle labels are the round cut most makers reach for on jar and pot lids.

Sizes and which label does which job

Cosmetic product labels are sized to the face they sit on, not the product category.

  • 30 mm circle: lip balm pot or tester lid.
  • 50 mm or 60 mm circle: cream jar lid.
  • 25 x 70 mm: slim serum or dropper bottle face.
  • 30 x 100 mm: tall pump bottle face.
  • 75 x 150 mm oval: soap bar.
  • 50 x 100 mm: larger bottle face, such as a 100 ml bottle.

The smallest listed size is 25 mm and the largest is 200 mm. Custom sizes are quoted by email enquiry.

Choosing the stock for a bathroom shelf

Start with the bathroom shelf. White Synthetic with Matte Laminate or Gloss Laminate is the stock for anything that meets water, oils, condensation or a wet hand. White Cast Paper with Matte Laminate or Gloss Laminate is the cost effective option for a dry outer carton or a gift item, and it is not water resistant. Colours on Clear Synthetic appear slightly lighter than on white stock. Clear labels on Clear Synthetic with Gloss Varnish create the no label look on a glass dropper or an amber bottle, with white ink underprinting available when you need opacity. Under either laminate, the printed surface stays protected from moisture, oils, cleaning agents and handling. Clear Synthetic runs in circle, rectangle, rounded corner and custom die-cut shapes. Oval labels are white stocks only.
