Custom Candle Label Range
Custom labels in this range are roll labels printed one-up and die cut, supplied on a roll of 500 labels. The minimum order is one roll of 500 per design and per size, with the quantity ladder running from 500 to 5,000 in steps of 500. Up to five different designs can be printed on one order, each design on its own roll, and unwind direction can be requested at proofing. Buyers who need fewer than 500 labels, or a sheet format instead of a roll, should order the sticker version of the same shape instead.
For candle labels handled and wiped on the outside of the vessel, White Synthetic with a matte or gloss laminate is a waterproof, scuff resistant choice with an acrylic adhesive stable from -20 degrees C to 80 degrees C. It resists oils and moisture, making it suited to fragrance oil and handling. Clear Synthetic with a gloss varnish reads as no label on clear glass and coloured containers. White Cast Paper is a cost effective paper stock for dry goods and indoor products, with a matte finish under Matte Laminate or a gloss finish under Gloss Laminate. No label in this range is rated for repeated dishwasher cycles.
A 60mm or 75mm round is the common tin lid size, and a base label carries the maker's details. The buyer supplies the artwork and any wording the product needs.
A final design proof is emailed before anything is printed, and printing starts only once the proof is approved. Production is 48 hours after proof approval. Delivery is a $10 flat rate Australia-wide, with express available at checkout.
Specification
Supplied on rolls, one-up, 500 labels per roll, ready for hand application and for semi-automatic or automatic label applicators. The unwind direction can be requested at proofing.
Stocks: white cast paper or white synthetic film, each with matte or gloss laminate. Clear synthetic film with a gloss varnish.
- For custom size enquiry, please contact printshop@paperlust.co
- Moisture Resistant Synthetic: White Synthetic labels and their laminates resist oils, moisture and handling on vessel exteriors without marking.
- White Synthetic Adhesive: White Synthetic has an acrylic adhesive that stays stable from -20 to 80 degrees C, so labels hold through chilled, frozen and ambient storage.
- Clear No Label Look: Clear Synthetic with a gloss varnish disappears on clear glass and coloured containers, leaving the vessel colour and candle texture visible.
- White Cast Paper: White Cast Paper is a cost effective paper stock for dry goods and indoor products, with a matte or gloss finish depending on the laminate.
- Die Cut Roll Supply: Each label is printed one-up and die cut, so the shape arrives cut to its finished outline for tin lids, jar bases and vessel fronts.
- Protective Laminate: Both laminate finishes add a clear protective layer over printed surfaces, reducing marks from cleaning agents, oils and repeated handling.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum order for labels?
Every label on this page is a roll label supplied on a roll of 500 labels. The minimum order is one roll of 500 per design and per size. The quantity ladder runs from 500 to 5,000 in steps of 500. If you need fewer than 500 labels, order the sticker version of the same shape instead.
Which material should I choose for my jars?
For labels that face fragrance oil, wiping and handling on the outside of the vessel, White Synthetic with a matte or gloss laminate is waterproof and scuff resistant, with an acrylic adhesive stable from -20 degrees C to 80 degrees C. Clear Synthetic with a gloss varnish gives a no-label look on clear glass. White Cast Paper is a dry goods option but not water-resistant.
Are these labels waterproof?
White Synthetic labels in this range are waterproof and scuff resistant, and the acrylic adhesive resists oils and moisture. White Cast Paper is not water-resistant and suits dry goods and indoor products. Both matte and gloss laminates add a clear protective layer over the printed surface. No label here is rated for repeated dishwasher cycles, where sustained heat and detergent can lift edges over time.
What size label do I need for a tin lid?
A 60mm or 75mm round is the common tin lid size. Circle labels are available from 30mm to 150mm rounds for tin lids and jar bases. The range also includes square, rectangle, rounded corner and custom die cut shapes. Every shape is available in Clear Synthetic. Measure the lid face or base area and choose the closest available round.
Can I order more than one design in a single order?
Yes. Up to five different designs can be printed on one order, each design on its own roll. The quantity ladder runs from 500 to 5,000 in steps of 500, and the minimum order applies per design and per size. Unwind direction can be requested at proofing.
How long do labels take to produce?
Production is 48 hours after the design proof is approved. A final design proof is emailed before anything is printed, and printing starts only once the proof is approved. Foil labels take 4 to 5 working days after proof approval.
Do I supply my own artwork for labels?
Yes, the buyer supplies the artwork and any wording the product needs. If you need support, the Design Artwork Package includes an Artwork Fix at $19 AUD, Custom Design at $59 AUD and a Logo Service from $19 to $75 AUD. All orders are proofed by email before printing begins.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is a $10 flat rate anywhere in Australia, with express available at checkout. Your order ships after the design proof is approved and production is complete. The labels are printed in Melbourne.

Roll Labels for Vessels
Labels in this range come as roll labels for vessel fronts, tin lids and jar bases. Each label is printed one-up, die cut and supplied on a roll of 500 labels. The minimum order is one roll of 500 per design and per size, and the quantity ladder runs from 500 to 5,000 in steps of 500. That makes this range a practical choice for a maker running a season batch or a wholesale order, not for testing ten jars. If you need fewer than 500 labels, order the sticker version of the same shape instead.
Material Choices for Vessels
White Synthetic with a matte or gloss laminate is waterproof and scuff resistant, with an acrylic adhesive stable from -20 degrees C to 80 degrees C. It resists oils and moisture, which makes it a sound option for labels handled, wiped and exposed to fragrance oil on the outside of a container. Clear Synthetic with a gloss varnish reads as no label at all on clear glass and coloured containers. White Cast Paper with a matte or gloss laminate is a paper stock for dry goods and indoor products, but it is not water-resistant. Both laminate finishes add a clear protective layer over the printed surface, so moisture, oils, cleaning agents and handling do not mark the label. Labels are not rated for repeated dishwasher cycles, where sustained heat and detergent can lift edges over time.
Jar and Tin Label Shapes
The range includes circle labels from 30mm to 150mm rounds for tin lids and jar bases, square labels from 30mm to 100mm, rectangle labels in sizes from 25mm W x 50mm H to 100mm W x 150mm H, rounded corner labels and clear labels. A 60mm or 75mm round is the common tin lid size, and a base label carries the maker's details. Up to five different designs can be printed on one order, each design on its own roll, with unwind direction requested at proofing.
Custom Jar and Tin Labels
Custom candle jar labels and candle tin labels sit on the outside of the vessel, so they face handling, wiping and fragrance oil rather than direct flame. For clear glass and coloured containers, clear labels in a gloss varnish disappear into the surface. For dry goods and indoor products, White Cast Paper offers a matte or gloss finish depending on the laminate chosen. For a label that must resist oils and moisture, White Synthetic with a matte or gloss laminate is the practical option in this range. The buyer supplies all artwork and wording, and every design is proofed before production begins.
Artwork, Proofing and Turnaround
You supply the artwork and any wording your product needs. A final design proof is emailed before anything is printed, and printing starts only once the proof is approved. Production is 48 hours after design proof approval. Foil labels take 4 to 5 working days after proof approval. Artwork support is available if you need it, with an Artwork Fix at $19 AUD, Custom Design at $59 AUD and a Logo Service from $19 to $75 AUD.
