What format should I provide my artwork to you in?
File Type
We prefer artwork in PDF, SVG and Adobe Illustrator formats. Please add 3mm bleed and crop marks whenever possible.

Make sure all fonts are outlined/vectorized, and all images/artwork embedded.
Dieline
Dieline needs to be in 100% Magenta Spot Colour and placed on the top layer.
Will I receive a design proof before it’s printed?
Yes we will send a final design proof to your email. We will not proceed to print until we receive your design approval.
Where is Paperlust Print Shop based? How long will the delivery take?
Our head office is located at 23 Manton Road, Oakleigh South, Victoria, Australia. Standard delivery is a $10 flat rate Australia-wide, with express available at checkout. For Australian addresses, we offer two shipping options you can choose:
- Express shipping: 1-2 business days for metro and 3-5 business days for regional (using Startrack)
- Standard shipping: 2-5 business days for metro and 4-6 business days for regional (using AusPost)
Can you ship worldwide? How long will it take?
We ship worldwide with flat AUD $35 charge (2-4 working days). We partner with DHL to ship our products express internationally.
Do you have an order minimum?
Roll labels have a minimum of one roll of 500 per design and size, supplied for hand or machine application. Fewer than 500 are sold as square stickers (minimum 10). Browse all roll label shapes.
Do you have waterproof labels?
Yes. Choose white synthetic stock with a laminate for waterproof and scuff resistant labels suited to bottles, jars and outdoor use. White cast paper with a laminate resists splashes and handling. Choose synthetic for fridges, freezers, bathrooms and anything washed.

What size square label fits a standard candle jar?
Most 8oz (approx. 235ml) candle jars work well with 60mm x 60mm or 70mm x 70mm labels. Larger 16oz (approx. 470ml) jars can take 90mm x 90mm or even 100mm x 100mm. Measure your jar's flat surface area and leave a few millimeters of clearance.
What label stocks can I choose from?
Two: white cast paper and white synthetic. Cast paper has a soft matte feel that suits artisan and small-batch brands, and it is the right pick for dry products like candles, soaps, and packaged foods. It is not waterproof. Choose synthetic for anything that meets moisture, refrigeration, or wet hands. We do not stock kraft label stock.
Are square labels more expensive than rectangle labels?
No. Pricing is based on total surface area and quantity, not shape. A 50mm x 50mm square costs about the same as a 70mm x 35mm rectangle of similar area.
Can you add a border or frame around my design?
Yes. We can add a printed border in any color, or create a white border by sizing your design smaller than the label. This gives a clean, framed look and makes the label easier to center when applying.
What's the best finish for product labels?
Matte laminate looks premium and hides fingerprints, great for products that get handled. Gloss laminate makes colors more colorful and works well for eye-catching designs. Both protect against moisture and scratches.
Can you print variable data like batch numbers?
Yes. We offer variable data printing for batch codes, expiry dates, sequential numbering, and other unique text on each label. Pricing depends on complexity and quantity, ask when requesting a quote.

For the default selection of White Cast Paper with Matte Laminate, 1,000 30 x 30 mm square labels cost $178.75 in total, which is $0.17 each. This price includes GST. Standard delivery is $10 per order, Australia-wide.
