Door Hangers

Choose one of five layouts for these custom door hangers, and our team sets the details into the one you pick.

• Neighbour notice layout: a white card with a charcoal top and a yellow and charcoal hazard stripe. The front has a hard hat icon, the heading NOTICE FOR NEIGHBOURS, a line that building works are starting nearby, the site address, the start date and the daily work hours, and the back invites questions about the works, lists the builder's contact name, business name and phone, and thanks the neighbours for their patience.
• Do not disturb layout: a navy side and an ivory side with a fine gold frame and the hotel logo. The front has a crescent moon and DO NOT DISTURB in a classic serif with a small polite line, and the back has a sparkle and PLEASE MAKE UP MY ROOM, with the hotel name on both sides.
• Real estate layout: deep teal and sand. The front has SORRY WE MISSED YOU, a line that the agent called by today, the agent's photo, name, agency and phone, and ruled lines for a handwritten note, and the back has a house icon, THINKING OF SELLING?, an invitation to call the agent about what the home could sell for, the agency logo, the agent's name and phone.
• Tradie layout: navy and orange. The front has WORKING IN YOUR STREET, a line that the tradie is nearby, a list of four services with ticks and the business name, and the back has the business logo, a house icon, BOOK A QUOTE, the phone, the website, the business name and an optional licence number line.
• Menu and delivery layout: deep green, saffron and cream. The front has the shop logo or name, a bowl icon, NOW IN YOUR STREET, an invitation to order, a QR code our team builds from the shop's ordering link, and SCAN TO ORDER with the phone, and the back has MENU with six dishes and prices, the opening hours and the phone for orders.

Builders put a notice on the neighbours' doors before works start, where it sits beside the construction signs at the job. Hotels, motels and guest houses keep a do not disturb card in every room. Real estate agents leave a card when nobody is home, tradies working in a street use one to let neighbours know they are nearby, and takeaway shops hang their menu on doors around the shop. A card on the handle is seen the moment someone comes to the door, and it does not get lost in the letterbox. Takeaway shops can also pair the hangers with flyers for a letterbox drop alongside the same route.

For the same streets, you can pair your hangers with fridge magnet calendars, a real estate a-frame for the open home, sold stickers for the agency board, and for sale signs for private sellers.

Pick a layout, the size, the laminate and the quantity, add to cart, and on the Upload Artwork step type the details in one text box of up to 1000 characters and upload the logo or photo. Our team sets everything into the layout and emails a PDF proof, and nothing prints until you approve it. The Neighbour notice layout has no set-up fee and costs the same as own artwork; the Do not disturb, Real estate, Tradie, and Menu and delivery layouts have a $15 set-up per order on top of the own artwork price for the same door hanger. If you choose Upload my own artwork, supply a print ready PDF with two pages, the front then the back, with 3mm bleed on every edge: a 103 x 218mm page for the Small 97 x 212mm, a 100 x 238mm page for the Large 94 x 232mm, and keep text at least 4mm inside the edge and clear of the hole. Our team checks the file against the cutting shape at the proof stage. Custom design is $49.90: a dedicated designer creates a bespoke door hanger, with two design options on the first proof and three rounds of revision.

Choose the Small 97 x 212mm shape with a round top, round hole and side opening, so the hanger slides onto a lever handle from the side. The Large 94 x 232mm shape has rounded top corners, a 52mm round hole and four short slits around it, so the hole fits over a round door knob and holds on. Every hanger is printed on 350 GSM Artboard in full colour on both sides, then laminated on both sides. Gloss laminate gives a shine that lifts colour and photos, matt laminate gives a soft low sheen that keeps text easy to read, and velvet laminate gives a soft, smooth feel with a low sheen. Laminate makes the card durable and wipeable. If you plan to write on a hanger, use a permanent marker, because ballpoint pens and pencils do not take well on laminate.

You receive a digital PDF proof before anything prints. Production takes 5 working days after the proof is approved, and production time is not delivery time. Delivery is $10 standard or $15 express per order, Australia wide. Free pickup is available from 23 Manton Road, Oakleigh South VIC 3167, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Write the date the door hangers are needed in the Special Request box at checkout.

All prices include GST. Print your own artwork on the Small 97 x 212mm shape with gloss laminate for $365.02 for 100, $508.97 for 250, $760.89 for 500, $1,093.35 for 1000, or $1,431.83 for 2500. The Large 94 x 232mm shape with gloss laminate is $1,529.63 for 2500, next to $1,431.83 for the Small at the same quantity. Own artwork on Small with matt laminate is $512.40 for 250, and Small with velvet laminate is $767.74 for 500. A Do not disturb layout on Small with matt laminate is $527.40 for 250, a Real estate layout on Large with gloss laminate is $775.89 for 500, and a Menu and delivery layout on Small with velvet laminate is $1,108.35 for 1000. The Neighbour notice layout costs the same as own artwork. The configurator prices every other combination.
