Safety and Security Signs

• Danger sign layout: the word DANGER in white on a red oval in a black header, message in black below, for an immediate serious hazard such as HIGH VOLTAGE.
• Warning sign layout: a yellow triangle with a black border and an exclamation mark, for a hazard to be careful of such as FORKLIFTS OPERATING.
• Caution sign layout: a yellow CAUTION header, for a lower level hazard such as SLIPPERY WHEN WET.
• PPE and mandatory sign layout: one to four blue discs in a row on a white sign, each with a white pictogram, and black capitals below. For what people must wear or do, such as HARD HATS, HI VIS AND SAFETY BOOTS MUST BE WORN.
• Prohibition sign layout: a red circle and slash with the matching black pictogram inside it, and the message below. For something people must not do, such as NO MOBILE PHONES.
• Emergency information sign layout: white pictogram and words on a green sign, with the pictogram above the words. For where first aid, an assembly area or emergency equipment is, such as DEFIBRILLATOR (AED).
• Fire equipment sign layout: white pictogram and words on a red sign, with the pictogram above the words. For where fire equipment is, such as FIRE HOSE REEL.

Use these custom safety signs for danger signs with the Danger sign layout and warning signs with the Warning or Caution sign layout, then type your message on the Upload Artwork step and our designer sets it into the format and emails a PDF proof before printing.

• CCTV in operation layout: blue sign with a camera symbol, CCTV IN OPERATION, THIS AREA IS MONITORED BY VIDEO CAMERAS.
• Private property no trespassing layout: red PRIVATE PROPERTY band, NO TRESPASSING, NO ENTRY WITHOUT PERMISSION.
• Beware of the dog layout: a yellow triangle with a paw symbol, BEWARE OF THE DOG.
• Authorised personnel only layout: danger format DANGER header, AUTHORISED PERSONNEL ONLY, KEEP OUT.
• No smoking layout: a no smoking symbol, NO SMOKING, IN THIS AREA.
• First aid layout: green sign with a white first aid cross, FIRST AID.
• Fire extinguisher layout: red sign with a white fire extinguisher pictogram, FIRE EXTINGUISHER.
• Emergency assembly area layout: green sign with a white pictogram of people gathering, EMERGENCY ASSEMBLY AREA.

CCTV signs suit camera monitored areas, a no trespassing sign suits private property boundaries, a beware of the dog sign suits gates and fences, a no smoking sign suits a doorway, a loading dock, a store room or any area where smoking is not allowed, a first aid sign suits a first aid kit or room, a fire extinguisher sign suits above an extinguisher, and an emergency assembly area sign suits the gathering point in a car park or yard.

Pick a layout first, then the material, then the size and options, then add to cart. On the Upload Artwork step type your message for a sign format; fixed layouts need nothing typed. Our designer sets the message and emails a PDF proof, and nothing prints until you approve the proof. A sign format carries a $15 set-up per design on top of the own artwork price, while fixed layouts have no set-up charge. • 3mm PVC: rigid foamed board with a smooth face for signs on walls and doors, indoors or outdoors. Sizes are 297 x 420mm, 420 x 297mm, 420 x 594mm or 594 x 420mm. Fixing option: 4 drilled corner holes for screws.
• 3mm or 5mm corflute: light, low cost fluted board for temporary signs on fences, gates and sites. Sizes are 600 x 450mm landscape or 600 x 900mm portrait. 5mm is thicker and more rigid for windy spots. Fixing option: eyelets for cable ties.
• 3mm aluminium composite: two aluminium skins over a polyethylene core, gloss laminate on one side, print rated up to 5 years outdoors, for permanent outdoor signs in 600 x 900mm portrait or 900 x 600mm landscape. For screw fixing, add 4 drilled corner holes.

The formats follow the shape and colour conventions Australian safety signs use. This page does not claim that a sign meets a standard or a law; the buyer checks the rules for their own workplace or premises. The fixed No smoking layout is a general sign and does not carry any state's wording for smoke free areas. Some states and territories have notice rules where cameras record, so a buyer checks the rules that apply to them. The designer adds the matching symbol from our set for PPE, prohibition, emergency information and fire equipment formats. All prices listed include GST, are one sided, have no holes or eyelets, and cover one design. Fixed layouts and own artwork: one 3mm PVC A3 sign is $29, or $114.25 for 10 signs. One 3mm PVC A2 sign is $36. One 3mm corflute 600 x 450mm sign is $30, or $120 for 10 signs. One 3mm corflute 600 x 900mm sign is $39. One 3mm aluminium sign at 600 x 900mm or 900 x 600mm is $139. One sign format on 3mm PVC A3 is $44, which includes the $15 set-up. On aluminium, four drilled corner holes add $2.50 per sign, and corflute eyelets add $3.50 per sign. The configurator prices every other combination. PVC and corflute are produced in 48 hour production after proof approval. Aluminium signs are made to order by our supplier in 5 to 7 business days and sent by standard delivery only. Standard delivery is $15 per order, express delivery is $60 per order, and pickup from Oakleigh South is available at no charge. There is no minimum order quantity.
